Water Conservation Tips!
Bathroom: According to LCRA.org, the water used in the bathroom accounts for about 75 percent of water used in a home! To avoid the misuse of water, consider the following tips!

Kitchen: According to LCRA.org, the water used in the kitchen is about 8 percent.
- Instead of washing a couple of dishes at a time, wait until there is a good pile of dirty dishes to wash together!
- When using a dishwasher, wash only full loads of dirty dishes.
- Do not rise off dishes before putting them into the dishwasher.
- Install a low-flow faucet aerator: this cut the use of water by half when washing dishes by hand.
- Newer dishwashers tend to save more water than washing by hand, try to use a dishwasher when possible.
- When purchasing a dishwasher make sure that it saves water!
Teaching Children about water conservation!
Teaching children how to conserve water sooner rather than later can help them see the importance of water at an early age. Conserve water doesn't have to be a tedious task: it can be a fun experience for the whole family! Parents need to take charge and create exiting/ fun games that involve conserving water. Some examples of water conservation games are:
